Mitered Scallop Scarf

I've been experimenting with several ideas for mitered squares over the past month and this is one of the first ideas that I came up with.  It's a simple pattern to help you get started on your first mitered square project.  The scarf measures approximately 2.25” W from point to point on each diamond and can be knit to any length you like.  Mine is going to be about 22-25 squares when finished.  I'll post new pictures here when it's done.  I have about 5 more squares to go, but hope to finish by the end of July.

This was done on the Kiss Fixed 1 Fine Gauge Loom, but you can use any loom or gauge/yarn to do this project.  It is very versatile to what you have to work with.  I used a Noro Sock Yarn for mine with built in color changes.  You can easily do each square a different color if you chose.

If you make this project, please send in pictures.  I'd love to see all the different color/yarn/texture variations that you can come up with!  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
